SEP categories

The SEP (Association of Polish Electrical Engineers) deals with the examination and issuing of certificates such as "SEP authorisations". These are awarded in 3 different categories. W SPA Operators Training Center you can take advantage of the courses that are conducted for the G1 category for electric power engineering, G2 for thermal devices and G3 for gas devices. Below we present the devices the subject of which is training.

Group G1:

  • generating devices connected to power grids
  • generating sets with a power greater than 50 kW
  • devices, networks and installations with rated voltage below and above 1 kV
  • electric overhead lines and lighting networks
  • electrothermal and electrolysis equipment
  • explosion-proof electronic devices
  • control and measurement tools and automatic adjustment

Group G2:

  • water and steam boilers with a capacity greater than 50 kW for solid, gaseous and liquid fuels
  • industrial furnaces with a power greater than 50 kW
  • transmission installations and networks as well as auxiliary equipment included therein, with a capacity of more than 50 kW
  • ventilation, air-conditioning and cooling equipment
  • hot water and steam consumers
  • steam turbines and auxiliary equipment
  • compressors and installations for compressed air and technical gases
  • fuel storage, filling and unloading equipment
  • control and measurement tools and automatic regulation

Group G3:

  • equipment designed to handle gaseous fuels, including their purification, expansion, filling, mixing, processing and storage
  • gas networks, reduction points, gas compressor stations, gas stations with pressure lower and higher than 0.5 MPa
  • gas installations and devices with pressure lower and higher than 5 kPa
