Building access trainingAbout the courseThis is altitude training, where ropes are used to protect against falling. According to the regulations, people who are on structures 1 m above the ground should have equipment that prevents them from falling. Construction access techniques use hoists, scaffolding, platforms, poles or fixed ladders. Building access course Building access is training for people who work or want to work at heights and are therefore at risk of falling. Work is carried out on steep, sloping and flat roofs, platforms, scaffolding, electricity poles, galleries or building structures without ceilings, among others.At the CSO-organised training you will learn: standards and legislation on working at height, health and safety rules for working at height, What characterises working at height with building access, construction access rules, types of work at height and their characteristics, selection of equipment and its types, how to navigate the structure, causes of accidents and means of protection, Knot tying - science, anchor points, rescue - basic principles, construction of the site and belay points, What are the measures that improve safety at work. On our course you will additionally acquire knowledge relating to roof surfaces: safe and unsafe roof types, climbing roofs safely, practical advice on climbing, use of safety systems - horizontal, use of security systems - vertical, recognising and dealing with hazards that may occur, practical exercises. Course of training On the course at the Operator Training Centre, one of the topics covered and very important is interpersonal communication. Another important thing is for the employee to be aware of hazards, understand them and be able to react quickly if necessary. We place great emphasis on belaying, and we adapt the exercises to the kind of work our trainees will be doing. At the end of the training, the participant has a great deal of knowledge that he or she can easily use when working at heights with building access. After theoretical and practical training, the trainee also takes a final exam. After passing the exam well, he or she receives the corresponding certificate. Our courses are always adapted to the applicable labour regulations. Who is this training for? The course is designed for both those who work at height and are therefore at risk of accidents, as well as those who wish to change their current occupation. It is most often aimed at workers in the sector: energetic, roofing, telecommunications, builder, mining, photovoltaic, water and sewerage management, storage, high storage. Course at the Operator Training Centre Building access training What are the conditions to participate in the training?At least 18 years of age, no medical contraindications to working at heights, mental as well as physical stamina. What about after the course?Participants receive a certificate valid for 3 years. Who the training might be for?For example, for those working on high-voltage poles or lattice structures. During the course, we provide equipment for participants to use during the exercises. We conduct our practical classes in an interesting way at several heights. We teach and train in a wide variety of fall protection and movement techniques. Building access It has been accepted that work carried out at height is divided into these: in rope access in construction access. The former rely on the use of ropes and equipment to be able to work in suspension. This method is used when neither scaffolding nor mobile platforms can be used.
